If the supply date is different to the invoice date, you can enter details in the ‘Notes’ and/or ‘Description’ on the invoice:
You can also use the ‘Additional Notes’ to enter the information, if you prefer:

“If the supply date is different to the invoice date…”
I read here (https://www.gov.uk/invoicing-and-taking-payment-from-customers/invoices-what-they-must-include) and I understand:
the date the goods or service were provided (supply date)
and
the date of the invoice
are mandatory.
Where they say that I need the supply date only if the supply date is different to the invoice date? Can you help me please? Thank you!
