Exporting CSVs includes commas in £X,XXX.XX

All purchases. Export CSV. The export includes the commas in £X,XXX.XX lines.

This breaks the formatting of the CSV. I think it’d be better to omit these then apply that comma (and the £ sign actually, come to that) in your spreadsheet or other processing software.

Yes the export shouldn’t be comma separating any numbers or applying currency prefixes.

I will ask this to be looked at today and get back to you.

EDIT:

We don’t appear to be comma separating or prefixing the currency. Are you sure your spreadsheet software is not applying this automatically? When I look at the purchase CSV in notepad there’s no formatting on the amounts.

Hmmm, what did I do to break it then? It wasn’t all entries; just the odd one. £ sign was me in Excel sorry.

Try QF00196 in cambridgeheatransfer account: Macbook Pro 13"

Ruler 12" will also kill it. User error: quotation marks in the description. I’ll try to avoid commas in item descriptions too!

Although I don’t see the formatting issue (i.e. comma seprattion and currency symbols) you originally posted about I do see quotations marks and possibly commas polluting the CSV. This actually does need to be looked at and I have logged this for review.

It will likely get looked at tomorrow as the person who would need to review this is off today.
