Hi, I am shifting to a new system and need advice on how to export all the general ledger or any other data that it would be filtered in columns on excel. Currently when I do export all of the line is written in one column, which is not possible to sort without editing each line. I am using Macbook with IOS and Microsoft Office Excel. Please advise.
Please can you elaborate I little more? Are you able to provide a sample of the issue?
When you export the full general ledgers from the chart of accounts it should output to 6 columns:
Have you got the right options ticked on the import screen in Excel? Sounds like comma is unticked so it is ignoring the separator and just dropping everything in one column.
