First VAT return complete. What Do I do when the money is taken?

Hi I’ve just completed my first VAT return and the payment is due to go out on 12th Dec. How do I correctly record the money going out and the VAT return as paid? Thanks

Once it is paid from bank you would tag it from the bank as a payment for VAT
