Some time ago, if memory serves, there was an option to ‘facelift’ the customer area to a more modern feel, which I selected for 1 of my accounts - not having paid much attention to it since but used the ‘impersonate client’ option today and noticed access to the messaging option appears to have vanished… I checked my older less used account that wasn’t updated and it is still there. Has this been removed in the newer feel version or have I done something wrong, if so what can I do to restore it?
The messaging system is still there. The standard options to query an estimate or invoice should still be showing, but you may wish to add a link to the navigation bar to point to /clientarea/mail.
You can do this from Account Settings >> Design Customisation >> Client Area Designer
