Generate a VAT return without a link to HMRC

Error occurred linking VAT to HMRC for MTD. HMRC are aware of this and working on an issue specific to our gateway.

In meantime have to submit VAT manually however cannot access VAT calculations as when attempting to view VAT report getting the following message:

You are not yet authorised to view this report for the VRN XXXXXXXXX. Please ensure your VAT number is correct and you have connected the corresponding HMRC Tax Account. If you have recently enrolled on the MTD scheme please allow 24 hours for HMRC systems to update.

How can VAT reports be viewed as could be done before MTD?

If you go into your VAT settings (from the VAT returns page, you’ll find a “Settings” button -

Go into the settings and you’ll see an option to select “No electronic filing”. This will disable this link for you
