Is there a way to have different options on an estimate (with prices) that will not add to the grand total?

Any items added to a Quote (with prices) would add to the grand total
You could add extra comment lines detailing other options (over multiple lines if necessary) but these would not have prices.
Not ideal but it gets the message across, thanks for your time.
