We are wanting to switch to the add-on GoCardLess offers “Branded Bank Statement Name” that allows your business name to show on the customers bank statement instead of GOCARDLESS LTD - REFID

But we have been asked to check the below with you. Please can you check with your developers the below.

By continuing, you confirm that your connected partner app supports this add on. For some partner apps, enabling this add-on could result in your business name not appearing on your customers’ bank statements as intended. Please check with your partner first to see if this add-on is compatible.

I don’t believe anything is required on our end. However, we have reached out to GoCardless directly just to confirm.

We are yet to receive a response from GoCardless regarding this. I have, however, chased this with them today.

GoCardless have replied saying that it would just be a change in the mandate, which is supported by us.

As your mandates update on your account with the change over, they should update on QuickFile too.

If you do proceed with this, please don’t hesitate to drop us a message and we can check for you.
