I have a customer who is paying regular payments for an item, they decided to pay early (using PayPal) which I allocated to their account. The auto invoices have been raised and payment requested by DD which isn’t needed as there is money on account to clear the invoice. Can I cancel the DD request and how?

As all direct debits are handled via GoCardless, you should log onto their web site, and cancel the direct debit through there.

If the payment was requested through QuickFile, it will be notified by GoCardless of the cancellation, and update your records accordingly.
As far as I know I don’t have a login for them. I could sign up but I’m not sure how a new account would be linked with the existing one…
You would have to have an account for them for QuickFile to collect the direct debits. I’ll send you a private message to get some more details, and see if I can help find out your GoCardless details for you.
