When a payment is marked as paid automatically via GoCardless does it sent the client the “New Payment Received” email from within Quickfile? or does it send one from GoCardless, or none of the above?

There isn’t an email send by QuickFile as the auto-tag bypasses this option.
With GoCardless, the client will receive an email prior to the collection of the direct debit as required by the DD guarantee but they don’t send one after.
The email that the client will receive will be similar to this:
Ok thank you, we’ll just manually send a payment received email to the client.
