May I know why every transaction I do through my Barclays Business current account it is shown on GoCardless? I was really surprised so I logged into GoCardless and see why, and there were no transactions.
Thanks
Antonio

If this is something showing on your GoCardless account, this would be something you need to raise with them directly.
There is no problem with GoCardless, I just realised that in order to get the feeds with Gocardless, quickfile asks me to connect to one account which is the same account that Gocardless is linked, but this is my main account which I use for my daily business banking, what quickfile does is not to connect to the GoCardless account but it connects directly to the bank account which is linked to quickfile which is my main bank account.
So when I try to refresh it, it uploads the transaction on Gocardless quickfile account. In order to make it work, I should link Gocardless to a new bank account which should be used only with Gocardless. In a few words, I need a new account to be linked to Gocardless but this account should not be shown in quickfile as it will duplicate it. In few words a few tweaks which is not really ideal. But the problem is that if the bank account it is not shown on quickfile I cannot link it to GoCardless and it will be a duplicate which will give me a problem in my Balance sheet and it will show as 2 different accounts.
I think there may be a bit of confusion here. We don’t offer a GoCardless feed, but we do automatically import any transactions that take place in QuickFile (e.g. someone paying by Direct Debit for a recurring invoice). In the settings, you can select a deposit account - which is what this will be used for.
If you are linking a feed to a bank account, it’s not likely to be for GoCardless, but rather your actual bank. I suspect this is the case, and the reason you’re seeing other transactions.
