Halifax bank feed not setting up

Hi, I’m new to quickfile. I tried last night and today to connect my bank with Halifax. It is saying it can’t set it up…“Due to a technical problem you can’t share your data at the moment. Please try again later. We’ve signed you out of the Halifax Secure Gateway.”

Can anyone advise what to do. Thanks

I sounds like an issue on Halifax’s side when authorising the connection.

They may have been doing maintenance at the time.

I can see that one user did successfully manage to connect last night.

Have you tried connecting again today?

I would reccomend reaching out to Halifax directly as once you log in via the online banking window, we have no control over the process.

It may also be worth trying a different browser (Chrome if you’ve been using Firefox or vice versa), and/or trying the process in a private / incognito window, just to make sure it’s not something like an ad blocker plugin interfering with the process. This kind of linking process requires several redirects across domain names, and possibly cross domain form posts, which are things that can be easily broken by some browser extensions.
