I am trying to get a debtors and creditors list up to 31.12.2023 but cant find a way of inputting dates so all I get is current reports, please can you help.

For historical dates use Reports > Show all Reports > Other Tab Debtor / Creditor Report.
Enter the date and it will show what was outstanding on that date.
