I updated my account details on the invoice and it is visible on the invoice now as a footnote, but the old account details are still there right below the new bank details. How can I remove the old one appearing on the invoice?

I have just take a look at the account associated with your email and I can see in Sales > Invoice customisation.
You have bank details entered under the Payment Terms section and also under the Footer Region.
You would only need them entered in 1 place so they do not duplicate.
