Dear QuickFile Support,
I am writing to report an issue with a VAT return submitted on December 7th, 2024. As you are aware, there were widespread problems with VAT submissions on that day.
While HMRC has confirmed receipt of my return, it appears the submission was rolled back on QuickFile’s end. This has resulted in the following problems:
- Missing VAT Return: The submitted return is not visible on the VAT Returns page within my QuickFile account.
- Overdue Notice: My dashboard incorrectly indicates that the VAT return is overdue.
I believe this is due to the rollback occurring after a successful transmission to HMRC.
To resolve this, I request that you restore the rolled back VAT return entry for December 7th, 2024, in my QuickFile account.
