Hello, I wonder if you can help. How can I submit a saved vat return (nil) ?

You can not submit a saved return.

Is it your latest return?
Does the period show in the Reports > Vat Returns Create screen as Open?

If so, you can open the return and use the rollback option, then try and re submit the period
