How can my accountant access my quickfile account

Hi
This is my first time using quickfile my accountant is trying to access my quickfile account for the first time using a different computer to mine !
He can not log into my account as it is linked to my email address only and every time he tries to access my account I get an email sent to my email address with a link to access my account
I have given him both my email address and password log in details
Please can you help?

Firstly, you don’t need to give him your username and password (in fact, I’d recommend that you didn’t, for security and event logs).

You can create a dedicated account for your account by going into Account Settings and selecting Team Management. From there, you can allocate them their own account, and limit them to view only what they need to.

You may find that if they support other users that use QuickFile, it will tell you their email address is already registered. As QuickFile operates a one email per account policy, there’s two things you could do:

1. Create them their own email address (e.g. accountant@mybusiness.org)
2. Encourage them to sign up to QuickFile Affinity - a platform made for accountants. It will cost a small amount, but if they support multiple users, it would probably be of a benefit to them
