How do I access my expense figures by catagory

I am self employed, finalising my accounts. How do I access my expense figures by catagory ie. materials bought, sub contractors labour etc. All expenses declared, need the figures

You can run the profit an loss report for the relevant period, this will show a breakdown of the sales , purchases and expenses broken down to the categories you have specified on your invoices.
