Hello, Is it possible to have a VAT drop down of 9% for invoices paid in Ireland? Many thanks
Why are you paying vat in Ireland in first place? Should you not provide them your vat number to get zero rated vat invoice?
To answer your query, you can add additional VAT rates under your account settings. Please take a look at this post:

Thank you. that has worked fine. We pay for our events on the day and so we don’t send them an invoice first. WE will ask next time we are there if they can do 0% but sometimes they not happy to do this. Not a problem we don’t go very often.
Thank you for your help.
@FaradayKeynes will know better than me, but I thought that you can only claim UK VAT on a UK VAT return. If you have a foreign invoice on which you have been charged VAT then that’s not “input tax” for the purpose of your UK VAT return so in QuickFile you would enter the gross amount and set the VAT to zero.
You can claim refunds of non-UK VAT but it works through a separate scheme rather than through your UK return.
