How do I configure the email from name?

Hi
I send my first Invoice to a client yesterday and my display name came up as “simon” rather than the company name, I cant fine anywhere to change this and it looks unprofessional. can anyone help me out?

Do you mean your email came from simon@… rather than accounts@… (or whatever you use)?

Most email clients will just take the first part of the email address simon@ if the sender name is not declared.

You can configure the sender name but only when using your own SMTP credentials. This is explained in more detail here.

I would recommend configuring your own SMTP credentials anyway as it will greatly improve the reliability of any emails sent through QuickFile.
