We are a recruiting agency and provide uniform to our staff that they make a contribution towards. The uniform cost inclusive of VAT is £30 and they pay £15 towards it. Is there any way we can get them to pay the supplier direct or if we collect their contributions, do we then have to issue each staff member an ionvoice and charge them vat on their contribution?
I’d have thought a deduction on the wages would be the easiest way to do this.
