There are more Taxes than just PATE or VAT & Corporation Tax. We have to pay FLT (Foreign Landlord Tax) and there seems no way to account for it… Currently I just put payments under PAYE but… not ideal .

Foreign Landlord Tax has not been to common a request, at present its not something we are looking to introduce.
If you like your can raise this as a feature request, that way other users can add their vote and we can monitor the interest.
In the mean time, You can create a nominal code in the balance sheet for any Tax liabilities and tag the payment to that code.
You can create a new nominal account in the creditors section and just call it FLT.
