I have just taken over the accounts of a small community group and plan to use QuickFile to produce the end of year reports. At the moment there is a backlog of last year’s reports to produce (fortunately with a very small number of transactions for each year).
My plan was to add journal entries for the closing balances at the end of the last completed year and then add the transactions in for last year, produce year end reports once all the transactions for that year had been added and then carry on adding transactions to produce the reports for the end of this year. However, when I created my QuickFile account, it would only let me add a year end date in the future. Is there a way of producing year end accounts for prior years?
