How to export all data as csv file in item order rather than by date

With my previous, now outdated and crashing system I would usually export two .csv files of each account to send to my accountant - one by date order, one by item order.

So, by date order is fine, (I have already run into the 50 entries export limit but can work with that) but is my second need possible and how?

Thanks.

Hi @TheMew

Are you asking about exporting invoice data or nominal account data?

Hi @TheMew

If you go to the chart of accounts and export the data you are given the option to either export in date order or grouped by nominal code:

Is this what you’re looking for?

That sounds pretty good, I will go and look, thank you.

Also, being a CSV file you can open it with your spreadsheet software (e,g, Excel), reorder it and then resave it as a CSV.
