How to log investment / startup balance

Hi all,

I’ve recently switched from being a sole trader to a Ltd company.
The balance left over from my sole trader account i would like to invest into the new Ltd company.

I’ve setup a new QF account for the new company.

How should i post this to the new bank account in quickfile?

Hi @adc80

If this is the funds from the sole trader business to the limited company.

Because there is no legal separation between the sole trader and the individual you can add the funds as a transfer from your Directors Loan Account (DLA) to the current account.
