How to process a VAT refund from HMRC on QF

Hello! I’m new to QF, slowly beginning to find my way around and wanted to ask how I go about accounting a VAT refund from HMRC on QF? Thanks, M

Welcome to QuickFile :slight_smile:

On your bank statement page, when you enter the refund from HMRC (that is, when the money hits your bank account), if you click the red “Tag Me!”

Select “Tax refund from HMRC (e.g. VAT, PAYE or Corporation Tax)”, select the tax type and save.

And that’s it done.
