HSBC imported statement debits are credits!

Hi Just tried to upload HSBC statement as normal and all debits are showing as credits and credits aren’t showing at all! not sure whats going on, anyone else had this? How can it be resolved? Many Thanks

Is this with a CSV file? There seems to be a bit of inconsistency at the moment with the CSV files HSBC are providing.

We have however released an update today for the HSBC OFX files, so you may wish to try this method instead for the time being.

It was with a CSV file, I just got an error message with OFX file.
I managed to do it now by selecting ‘other’ as my bank and manually telling it which column to use for debits and credits.
