HSBC Kinetic account

I had a HSBC Kinetic account linked via bank feed last month but it was not updating. I revoked the access, as has been suggested here in the past. When I try to reconnect it comes up with a QR code to scan with a phone. The QR code scans OK but the link goes to HSBC who say. HSBC do not support redirection from a personal computer to a mobile device for authentification.

Any ideas?

This sounds like an issue on HSBC’s end unfortunately.

It may be worth reaching out to them and see if they can give any pointers on this.

The only thing I can suggest trying, is setting up the bank feed completely on one device (e.g. your phone) and see if that changes anything.
