If you’re a sole trader, the invoice must also include: your name and any business name being used

"If you’re a sole trader, the invoice must also include:

I only have “Company Name” field on Company Profile.
Were I can put my name?
Thank you!

Why don’t you just use "Your Name trading as TradingName " in the company field?

I use my business name, but…
“If you’re a sole trader, the invoice must also include:

I understand I have to use both. My name and my business name.

Putting “Business Name is a trading name of Your Name” in the invoice footer option works fine. This will cover you.

Go to Settings > Invoice Customisation and select “Invoice Footer” (or similar), and pop it in there. Also worth popping payment details in there too, and its on every invoice then

Ok. Thank you! I understand now. Which is the best solution?

  1. "Your Name trading as TradingName " in the company field
    or
  2. Putting “Business Name is a trading name of Your Name” in the invoice footer

No problem!

I’ve always personally used option 2, but either are fine as they both state business and personal name
