Importing historic receipt images from JSON

Newbie question. I need to import my existing images/scans of receipts from my previous cloud accounting site…I dont have the original jpg or pdf invoices on my PC. (it’s about 2 year’s worth, 300 or so images).

The old system only provides a JSON-formatted text file of the supplier name, date and web link to the scans (in pdf form) each image being in a seperate link.

Is there an easy way for me to upload these to quickfile? Bear in mind I’m no computer expert. I think I can convert the JSON file to Excel but the cells with the scans just show the web links on the old server.

It would not work directly from a JSON file

You could convert to a Excel/CSV and import them like that, but it would only be the data, not the files or images unfortunately.

It may be worth asking your old provided if they can provide you with all of the images rather than links, no harm in asking
