Inserting a line in a Purchase Order moves line when saved

I generally copy a Purchase Order from a previous similar one, especially if it has quite a few lines in common. Sometimes I then need to insert one or more new lines in the middle.at possibly different positions. When I then save the Purchase Order these new lines often move about and do not appear in the positions where they were inserted.

Drag to re-order lines

Hi, further to the discussion on lines in PIs re-ordering themselves Please can you add a feature when this is fixed to enable “Drag to Re-order” for line items in Quotes, POs, PI, and Sales Invoices? Also that the order should carry forward between Quote and Sales Invoice and also between PO and PI.

Hi Steve. I am still having the same issues with Purchase Orders. I just inserted a line in the middle of an order and on saving it moved to the bottom. I often copy a previous PO and then amend the copy by adding lines but it would nice if they could stay where I put them!

We have now added a shuffle option to the purchase orders to move line items.

Move your mouse oved the icons highlighted, click and drag the line up or down to change the ordering
