I was shown how to see and manage inventory and look at when and what quantities have been sold, but cannot remember where to find this again.
Also when i am searching for items customer have previous brought, You can only see the first product on each invoice, or search product in search box, but doesn’t pick up all lines. If there a way to see how lines list for customer, even if its one big list ?

There is no stock control functionality in QuickFile.
The idea behind the inventory management is just an easy way to store product lists etc to save time on the data entry (e.g. select a code rather than typing product descriptions).
There is a feature request on the forum here, please feel free to add your vote.

Am I wrong in thinking there is a list of units sold etc… basically more apart from the inventory tab for creating new or amending inventory?
I thought id seen something.

Sales inventory are basically templates to speed up data entry and reduce entering the same data more than once
There is such entity as a product in QuickFile as we do not have a stock control system.
You could create a report in Excel (or similar)by looking at the sales_invoice and sales_invoice_item data from your backup. as this stores customer and item line data including qty from invoices
Thats Steve, that last part sounds good and familiar. Can you send me screen shots/ clear instructions for this.

The backup contains all your data in csv form, as I mentioned you can create a report in from the Excel (or similar) by looking at the sales_invoice and sales_invoice_item data.
