We setup the invoice template so it has our logo on and the fields we wanted, etc. When we create a new invoice (manually) this works well, however… We then setup some recurring invoices and the layout is completely different and some of the fields (e.g. account number) are missing.
Is there a separate template for recurring invoices? If so how do we edit it? I can’t seem to find it.
In addition to @QFBeth’s response above, can I just clarify if it’s just the fields that are different, or whether it’s the appearance of the invoice itself?
It’s worth noting that when previewing the recurring template, it’s just that - a template. When the actual invoice is created, it will adopt the styling of your standard invoices.
Thanks to both, it was a bit of both - the wrong template was selected and there was a missing field (account number) but it seems if you don’t put anything in that field in the details for a particular customer it doesn’t get included on the invoice.
