Issues with creating a client Statement with a custom date range

dear support.
there seems to be an issue with being able to create a custom date range in the clients statement.
whenever i put in specific dates it creates the pre determined “All Time” statement.

this appears to be a recurring issue from the “your topic is similar too”

many thanks for your help in sorting this issue

Hi @HappyMan

Just to clarify - a statement is designed to show all outstanding invoices regardless of the date range selected. So even an outstanding invoice from 3 months ago will appear when the date range is “last 30 days”.

However, I wouldn’t expect to see any payments or paid invoices to show from outside the date range. If this is what you’re seeing, please let us know and we can take some account details from you in a private message and investigate it further.

Dear Mathew.
Thank you for your response.

unfortunately, what I’m getting whenever I put any date ranges into the QuickFile statement page is the “all time results”
the other pre set date ranges 30 days last month 6month ETC are all working normally.

YES, one of the functions that I appreciate of QuickFile is the fact of “ statement is designed to show all outstanding invoices regardless of the date range selected. So even an outstanding invoice from 3 months ago will appear when the date range is “last 30 days”.”

But this issue is specifically coming about when I try to use the “custom date range feature”.

Ps, I’ve tried checking for updates and switching the programme on and off and the computer on and off )
if it turns out to be a just me issue I’ll leave it and come back to it after the weekend if it’s a larger issue I thought it best you guys knew.

Hi @HappyMan

I’ve managed to replicate this on a test account, so I’ve asked our development team to investigate and see what’s happening here.

As soon as we have an update, we’ll let you know.

Good morning Mathew.
i hope you had a great weekend, it was a lovely long bank holiday here in the UK, and now i’m back to getting the end of month accounts updated and ready to send out.
i’ve check quick file and i still appear to have the same issues.
i’ve found a work around my removing the excess information from the statement using adobe after saving the file but i’d prefer to have the issue fixed.
let me know if there is anything that you need from me to facilitate this.

Many Thank.
Dennis Durby
