Hello @vickery

Do you mean you are trying to create 2 QuickFile accounts with the same email?

QuickFile is a single company product, meaning you can only have 1 company linked to a single email address.

There is nothing to stop you signing up a second company using a different email address.

Alternatively we have a dedicated platform for Accountants and Bookkeepers called Affinity. This is a single dashboard where you can group together all your client profiles, track key filing dates and setup your own branding and logo on their accounts.

We have a more general guide on Affinity here:

Hi we opened a new sole trader account to access the landlord facility but when i enter the rent on my landlord account it appears in my business account

Hello @vickery

You would need to post the rent to a separate nominal code to keep the income streams separate

e.g.
4000 general expenses, 4001 rental income

Hi Steve when i look at my account settings it says landlord is that correct as i would expect to see sole trader ?

Hello @vickery

They are just about the same but the landlord account is better for anyone who has a rental property as you have access to the landlord dashboard feature.

thankyou for confirming that
