This may have been covered elsewhere so apologies if it has.
Is the possibility to show Last Year, YTD figures and percentage and absolute change figures on the Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet reports under consideration?
I attach an example from QuickBooks, in case the above is not clear.
No replies so I a, assuming this is not something people in general want?

Could be handy. There’s a segmented report which shows figures between years or months but they are figures rather than percentages. Have you come across that one?

The csv export would take quite some manipulation to add prior year figures. Its better than nothing but not ideal. Let me know how you get on with it - in case I am being too picky.
I don’t think it will be too hard comparing one year to the next though if course it would easier if QuickFile did it for you. 
Pulling those csv reports into Excel and then combining and adding columns - is definitely an onerous and unnecessary exercise. Just having to tidy up the csv TB is a pain. I am sure many people print and study reports - realise amendments, update the accounts package accordingly and then reprint. I still prefer to print stuff out - write on it by hand etc. Not because I am old fashioned, but because its a good way of working with figures. I can take a paper report to a meeting, distribute to 9 other attendees and discuss.
