Leaving Quickfile & Exporting data

We’re moving on from Quickfile as our small start up has outgrown it and we need to move to specialist software for our industry.

I’ve found the option to backup and export my data but I can only get it in CSV format. Is there a way I can get it in QIF format as will make the transition to new software much easier.

Quickfile has been great and would recommend, we just need more specialist features.

Hi @Paul_H

We’ll be sorry to see you go, but glad to ear it’s for all the right reasons.

Typically qif files are generated by a software package called Quicken, whereas CSV is more universal.

If some of the data needs to be changed in the CSV to meet a layout set by the new package, a CSV file is basically a slimmed down spreadsheet. You should be able to open it in Google Sheets, Excel, etc., change it as needed, and use it from there.

Appreciate that’s not quite the answer you were hoping for, but I hope that helps
