I’m setting up a charity right now and wondering, is it possible to convert “Sales” into “Donations” so that QuickFile asks me if each credit is a “Donation from donor” rather than “Payment from customer”?
Would also be nice if the final P&L showed Donations less Cost of Fund Raising vs Sales less Cost of Sales.
Are any of these possible?
I don’t know whether this post would be helpful to you? Charity Bookkeeping - Donations Received it shows how you can set up your own nominal for donations received so that you can keep track easier.
You may be able to set up a custom report which shows you what you want in the P&L. A guide to this can be found here: Build a custom report
