wrote a letter out, tried to attach a estimate to it but the software does not pick any up from the customer account?
Hi @Steve_RN - while I can’t answer this question, I just thought I’d mention that the same happens my end. Invoices can be attached fine, but estimates don’t show.
I’m sure @Glenn will pick this up at some point to help 
There’s no reason (that I can think of) why you shouldn’t be able to attach estimates to letters, although I’ve checked this and can confirm that the system is not allowing this to happen.
I’ve logged this as a problem and an engineer will look into this on Monday/Tuesday.
