Link for client to get invoice

Hi. Sorry, just getting started on Quickfile. What is the address I give a client on the email to collect their invoice please…?

Thx

M

Hi @Malcolm

There are 2 links you could give them:

A generic login link
This is the same as your own account (https://your-business.quickfile.co.uk). They would however need a username and password to access this.

An invoice/statement/estimate specific link
This one is available on each document. If you are sending the email manually (e…g outside of QuickFile), then you can view the document as normal in QuickFile, click “Send”, and you’ll then see a link there. However, the easiest way to send this to them is by sending the email through QuickFile itself.

Providing the email has @DirectInvoiceLink@ in the body, QuickFile will convert this to a link for you automatically. This will also be specific for the person you’re sending the email to, rather than the default contact (which is what the manual option above uses).

If your email template doesn’t include this token, we will notify you before you click “Send”:

We could not find the token @DirectInvoiceLink@ on the above message. Without this token your client will have no link to view the invoice you are sending. Click here to update your email template.

If you don’t see that message, you should be good to go

Brill. thanks so much Mathew. Thats a great help…

Thx & best

M
