Yes, I would have thought that this is a default setting. I did disable it and instantly after closing and opening Chrome it lost all the saved credentials.
I can confirm that Chrome is my default browser.

Set Chrome as default browser, still loses the settings
Have you tried unchecking the setting, closing and opening Chrome and then rechecking and closing and opening again?
I’ll be honest I don’t know why your browser is not persisting the settings when you close and reopen. We store the settings in a background page which should never be wiped when closing and reopening (notwithstanding those reasons already covered).
I’ve made a few enquiries on the Chrome developer forum so perhaps that may shed some light on this problem.
I’m sort of pleased to say, that I have tried on another computer, and get exactly the same result. Enter the details and lit logs you in fine, but close and open chrome and it looses it all.
So at least I know it’s not just my computer.
I’ve referred this to the developer and suggested that the way Lloyds credentials are stored be updated. Unfortunately it’s going to have to be worked into their current schedule. I will however update you as soon as this has been reviewed in detail.
EDIT:
In the mean time you may want to contact Lloyds and encourage them to develop an official web service for 3rd parties to access read-only statement information. The fact that most banks turn a blind eye to this means that we (and other accounting software providers) need to use imperfect workarounds which just cause inconvenience.
@VitaIT I have some good news, we’ve just managed to rebuild the storage system for the Lloyds feed and the update should now be available on the Chrome App Store. If you go to your Chrome Settings >> Extensions you should be on version 1.35.
If you’re still on 1.34 you can force an update by clicking here:
Let me know how that goes?
Success!
It now retains the settings after closing Chrome, and when I click “import statement” it says success (which was the original issue.
However, when in QuickFile, I do not get any notifications about syncing/processing the newly imported transactions.
One thing I noticed whilst it was doing the export, it selected the format as QIF, rather than CSV, maybe this is the problem?
Great!
Log into your account and glance in the top left of the dashboard, I see two items pending. You need to click here and it will ask where to deploy the feed to (i.e. which bank account on QuickFile).
I think with Lloyds it transfers the data in QIF format, QIF is always preferable to CSV as it’s structured.
