Locked Accounts

In preparation for our year end accounts 31 Aug, we require to make some adjustments to one of our bank accounts but the system is advising us that our accounts are locked. We have not authorised or confirmed our reconciliation. and therefore wonder why this is happening?

Are you vat registered? It may be locked due to the transaction being linked to a submitted vat return

Usually when transactions are locked the note will say ‘locked due to to…’ which should tell you why it’s locked.
