Continuing the discussion from Year-end close process:
Hello, I have completed my End of Year 31st Oct 2014 journals but the journals are not showing locked. Is there a process I have missed out?

The actual year-end journal is the only item in the year that can’t be locked, this is to make it possible to modify the journals if a mistake was identified later on.
The previous year YE journal shows a locked symbol and so does the Opening Balance Adjustments for the previous year but not for the ones I have just done. Is that correct please?
Yes that is correct, only the most recent set of y/e journals will remain unlocked so you can rollback the last year’s adjustments.
