M365 SMTP Deactivated Email issues

Just setup a new user account with quickfile and using it for invoicing. Have had a few email issues with M365 SMTP errors. Any ideas

Day 1 it failed as below and reactivated it worked fine for 3 days and then get the other error below today.

Day 1 Error See below
We have been unable to send a number of items through your own custom SMTP email server. The last 3 consecutive attempts failed. The error recorded is as follows:
Email:********** Error: One or more errors occurred. → Failed to send mail 14849534 via SMTP host ‘smtp.office365.com’. Reference: ‘6131591699’; SenderEmail: ‘'; Recipients: '***********’; Num. Attachments: ‘0’. → The operation has timed out.
Please return to the SMTP settings page on your QuickFile account (Account Settings Area). If you have recently changed your email password or any other credentials please update and reactivate your SMTP services accordingly.

Day 3 Error

We have numerous clients using office 365 smtp settings.

Some use port 587 and some use port 25

Maybe test both to see if it goes through.

If you have any extra security (proxy/firewall/policy rules set up) it may interfere, possibly test without it (or test from home / not on the office network / using a mobile not connected to Wifi)
