Hi, I have recently taken out a credit card that isn’t compatible with quickfile. I tried uploading a csv file statement from the online banking but when I upload it, it shows as money in not money out. It was a transfer money from the credit card to the business bank account. So I manually made a new transaction of money out and allocated as a transfer between accounts. The problem is I’ve now paid the money back to the credit card account plus the interest fee and now I’m having trouble allocating this transfer back to the credit card account. Hope that makes sense, thanks in advance
Hello @Trade_Sash_Weights_1
You can remove the first import by Viewing the bank > Options > View Recent batch uploads
You can delete transactions by clicking the red cross next to them.
When you upload Credit card statements the transactions are reversed. there is an option on the upload screen to import them as reversed transactions.
Hi, that worked perfectly thank you. However now I have a new problem, so on my credit card statement I have 3 transactions the money out which I transferred to the bank, the finance charge and the money in which was the initial money I transferred plus the finance charge. The problem is on my bank statement I only have 2 transactions the money in and the money out which includes the finance charge as one transaction. So on the credit card account I’m left with the finance charge unallocated and nothing to allocate it to, can you please advise thanks
