I don’t submit my VAT via Quickfile’s submission tool. Is there a way to get the data for the VAT EC Sales list from the software via a report? eg Customer VAT Number and value of supplies?

To generate an EC Sales List in QuickFile you do need to at least commit the VAT return, even if you’re not actually filing the return from QuickFile to HMRC.

In the VAT settings, providing you don’t have the electronic filing credentials saved it will only commit the VAT return within the software and lock down the entries. Once committed a button will then appear to generate an ECSL.
