Marking a VAT return as paid

I am a new user to QuickFile and need some advice on how to mark a VAT return as paid. Currently, it shows but I made the payment 3 weeks ago,

Hello @TFE

When you make the payment to HMRC just tag the payment in the bank screen as “Tax Payment”.

The Reports > Vat returns screen will not change as a result of this. You are just recording the tax payment in your accounts.
