Is it still only 2000 items on the stock list ??
I really could do with double that.
Is there a way of updating.

Yes, the reusable inventory list is limited to 2,000 active items.
It’s not a stock list as such, but more of a way to quickly populate sales invoices (a bit like a templating set up).
There are no immediate plans to increase the limit on this, but there is an active feature request that you may wish to add your vote to: Increase maximum number of items in sales inventory
