MCP for Claude Ai

I wanted to congratulate you on the MCP with Claude. I’ve been using this over the last few weeks, and it’s an absolute game-changer for me. I’m using it in Claude Co-worker, and you can use natural language and even your voice to give it commands, look things up, return data, and integrate with other connectors.

Using chat in AI is one thing, but being able to integrate new tools and use them seamlessly is completely different, and that’s why Claude calls it Co-worker.

Definitely the way forward. I congratulate you on your work. It’s a fantastic tool and I certainly recommend it to others

Nearly forgot my question. I got so excited!

One company set up using the connectors in Claude. But I have two companies. How can I go about connecting the second company? That is not an obvious process because you can only have one connector, from what I can see.

Thanks for the positive feedback @JSM! I’m pleased to hear it’s working well for you and helping you out.

Claude does seem to only permit one type of each connection, so it would just be the one authorisation for one QuickFile account.

It may be worth querying this with Claude directly to see if they allow multiple copies of the same connectors to your account.

Claude has kindly confirmed that you can only have one connection. Is there any possible workaround? I thought I would contact you first before pursuing that.

Claude suggests that connectors are just an easy way of implementing MCP so you may be able to add in a second one as an MCP plug-in as long as you know the URL, according to Claude is MCP Endpoint | QuickFile ( MCP Endpoint | QuickFile ),

I’m not tempted to try this yet. Thought I would check in with you to see if you think it is also workable

Regards

John
