I’ve looked through the past queries about a Metrobank feed and it seemed like Metrobank don’t offer a suitable openbanking feed, and customers should request one. So I did. And I got the following answer
We do offer open-banking facilities but only with the selected providers:
Our Open Banking integration is currently connected with FreeAgent and Sage, and we have plans to extend our offering to the following Third Party Providers (TPPs) for customers only:
- Sage - connected
- FreeAgent- connected
- QuickBooks - connected
- Clear Books - connected
- Ratesetter – connecting soon
- Xero - connecting soon
There are no plans to extend the Open Banking integration to any other TPPs outside of those listed above in the immediate future.
Does this mean we can’t expect to see a Metrobank feed in QuickFile anytime soon? And why are Metrobank so reluctant?
